The Compression Cutter features a unique design incorporating both up and down-cut helices. Its upper section boasts right-hand cutting teeth with a left-hand spiral, while the lower section showcases right-hand cutting teeth with a right-hand spiral. This configuration generates opposing cutting forces, effectively stabilizing the material removal process when cutting layered composites. The compression action applied to the top and bottom of the workpiece maintains the cohesion of the layers.
